Meet Dr. Rausch

Dr. Val Rausch, DVM

Meet Dr. Rausch, a 2023 graduate from Murdoch University in Perth. With a special interest in surgery and livestock medicine, Dr. Rausch is thrilled to be doing what he’s dreamt of since he was a kid: caring for animals.

Outside of his work at the Okotoks Veterinary Clinic, you might catch him climbing mountains, working out at the gym, or enjoying sports. He loves Chinese food, sushi, and pizza, and has a special fondness for Highland cows and German Shepherds.

Dr. Rausch’s fave fun fact: a “chiweenie” is a Chihuahua and dachshund mix!
